Job Purpose
  • Consolidate and prioritize procurement data for the development of accurate budgets, forecasts, variances, trends and anomolies, with suggestions for countermeasures. 
  • Manage Master Data across ERP systems for efficency, accuracy and applicability.
Responsibilities:  
  • Generate weekly/monthly procurement related performance reports.
  • Integration of procurement information and data across multiple global opperational sites.
  • ERP Data extraction processes for improved accuracy and efficenicies
    • Ability to generate CRYSTAL reports in QAD (SQL) and SAP (BW Warehouse) and consolidate/manipulate in excel. 
      • NOTE: partial knoweldge and experince in these areas is acceptable and will provide additional training as necessary
  • Facilitate Supplier Risk Assessment and scorecard analysis while working wth suppliers on counter measures
  • Basic knowledge and purpose of ISO:9001 and 14001 
  • Problem Solving/Critical Thinking and Reasoning along with Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) as it pertains to procurement/supply chain cost savings
    • Participative memeber on problem solving teams
    • Facilitate problem solving recovery dialogue with suppliers
  • Commodity tracking and analysis to category managers and sales
  • Faciliate the development, evaluation and analysis of:
    • Supplier costing models
    • Complex RFQs (Request for Quotations) packages
    • Supplier quotation analysis.
    • Contract negotiation
    • Make vs Buy
    • As is cost modeling
 Skills:
  • A self-starter who has the ability to understand, interpret and take pragmatic action utilizing complex data
  • Strong background in delivering improved cost of acquisitions, while reducing supplier risk.
  • Effective in cost management practices, with a history of positive performance metrics
  • Proficient at thinking strategically, using data to generate innovative solutions and championing change.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects having deadlines while managing constraints.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement strategy and market drivers.
  • Excellent planning, project management and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to include; contectual listening, strategic messaging, proper use of cultural mental filters
Qualifications 
  • Minimum of 5 years of expreince with a Procurement background with an emphasis on Finance. Multisite, Global experience is preferred
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, finance, or engineering.
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills, including Microsoft; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Project required.
  • Minor domestic and international travel may be required, especially during on-boarding and training stages
